COMMUNITY PROGRAMS
At ReClaimed Creativity & Thrift Shoppe, we are home of the Community Give Back Program and the Donation Tote Program.
Community Give Back Program:
Our Community Give Back Program is dedicated to supporting local individuals and organizations. We collaborate with local organizations to provide resources like household goods, and personal items. By participating in our program, customers help create a positive impact, strengthening the community and giving to those in challenging circumstances. We want to emphasize our passion for repurposing items and getting them to organizations who can use them.
Donation Tote Program:
Our donation tote program encourages customers to contribute to the community by donating recycled items in totes. These totes can be filled with clothing, household goods, scrap paper, loose batteries, tupperware lids, wine bottles, sheet sets, and so many more items that are no longer needed. Once the totes are returned to our shop, we distribute the donations to those in need or sell them to support local initiatives. Through this program, we make it easy for everyone to give back and reduce waste.
Donation totes may be purchased ($20 deposit) and we can pick up once a month.
FREE ITEMS
We give away free items to those in need - yes, free! Below are just some of the free items we offer at our shop:
Socks, underwear, and bras (1 item per person per day)
Adult nighttime briefs (1 pack per person per week)
Medical supplies
Monthly gift certificates for seniors
Adult bibs for those with eating difficulties
Children's books
Personal care kits
Shower items
Crafting supplies (We encourage this supplies to be used for the creation of adult bibs, baby blankets, burp rags, etc. to be given out for free. In the winter, we offer free yarn for the creation of free winter gear such as hats or mittens.)
Free Sidewalk Saturdays:
On Free Sidewalk Saturdays, the shop outside offers free items for anyone and everyone - no questions asked. From sun up until sun down, we set these items out EVERY SINGLE SATURDAY other than in conditions of a blizzard or tornado.
Our shop is in need of volunteers to help run the store within a variety of different roles including but not limited to:
Stocking Associate
Puzzle Sorter
Tag Cutter
Merchandising Display Setter
Coupon Distributor
Resource/Outreach Assistant
Cleaning Associate
Delivery/Pick-up Driver
Advertising Assistant
Data Entry
